Emergency services / Police attend two-vehicle crash near Sound Service Station
EMERGENCY services are attending a two vehicle accident outside the Sound Service Station in Lerwick.
The road is partially blocked, and police officers are managing the traffic.
The collision took place at the traffic lights involving two smaller hatchback type cars. A paramedic who was off duty is believed to have been one of the first on the scene.
A spokesperson for police said: “Around 3.50pm on Wednesday, 19 June 2024, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash near Sound Service Station in Lerwick.
“Emergency services attended and recovery was arranged.”
There has been no official word on any casualties yet.
