Police / Police enquiries into ‘drone being flown near Sumburgh Airport’

THE POLICE are looking for information after reports of a drone being flown near Sumburgh Airport.

Anyone who saw a drone being flown near the airport at 12.10pm on 18 March or 7.20pm on 20 March is asked to contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

In a social media post, the police also pointed to this advice on how to legally fly drones.
