Transport / NorthLink confirms no northbound sailing on Monday due to dry dock delay
NORTHLINK has now confirmed that Monday’s northbound passenger ferry sailing has been cancelled as a result of the Hrossey‘s delayed return from dry dock.
With the service remaining with one passenger vessel, Monday’s southbound sailing will still be going ahead.
NorthLink confirmed earlier this week that the Hrossey would be delayed in returning from dry dock as a result of a rudder issue. It resulted in cancellations to the northbound Saturday sailing and Sunday’s southbound trip.
There will be a northbound trip to Kirkwall and Lerwick on Sunday operated by the Hjaltland.
NorthLink had said it is expected that the Hrossey could return to service early next week.
It comes on top of weather related cancellations to the Lerwick calls for sailings last night (Thursday) and on Friday night.
