Court / Man appears on rape charges

Jury trials are set

A MAN has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on two charges of rape.

Harry Pitt, 28, whose address was given as Shetland, made no plea when he appeared in private on Monday.

He was committed for further examination.
