Court / Bail for man accused of drink driving
A MAN from Wales has been released on bail after appearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court from custody accused of driving while around four times the alcohol limit.
Christopher Barnard, of St Arvans, Monmouthshire, had his cased continued without plea when he appeared in the dock on Monday.
The 37-year-old was accused of driving a car on the A970 near to Northpunds, Levenwick on Sunday (28 January) with 89 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, with the limit being 22 microgrammes.
He will next appear in court on 14 February.
