Police / Two taken to hospital following Tingwall crash
TWO PEOPLE were taken to hospital in Lerwick at Friday lunchtime following a three vehicle crash on the Tingwall straight near the junction with the A971.
The road was closed for a while to allow damaged vehicles to be cleared.
Police said they were called to the accident at ten past midday.
“Two people were taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital following the crash,” a spokesperson said.
