Transport / Disruption to NorthLink sailings
THERE will be some disruption to NorthLink’s sailings over the next couple of days due to the wind.
The ferry operator says tonight’s (Sunday) southbound sailing will leave Lerwick at 3.30pm instead of 4.30pm.
Meanwhile the northbound sailing is expected to arrive in Lerwick on Monday morning between 5am and 6am.
Only Monday’s southbound sailing is now under review, and NorthLink says there could be a late departure. An update will be given in due course.
The freight sailing between Lerwick and Aberdeen on Monday is similarly under review, with the possibility of a late departure.
