Transport / NorthLink confirms ferry cancellations
NORTHLINK has confirmed that its northbound ferry sailing tonight (Thursday) will only go as far as Kirkwall due to the weather.
The northbound and southbound freight sailings have also been called off.
The southbound passenger sailing will leave Lerwick at the earlier time of 4pm.
On Friday the northbound passenger trip will sail, but will likely arrive into Lerwick later than scheduled on Saturday morning.
However, the southbound trip will only travel between Kirkwall and Aberdeen, meaning there will be no Lerwick departure.
Freight services will run on Friday but with some disruption.
