Court / Man remanded on attempted murder charge
A MAN from Lerwick has appeared in court charged with assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
Kyle Swannie, 27, also faced a charge of abduction.
He made no plea or declaration on the two charges when he appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court from custody in private on Monday, and was remanded in custody.
Swannie is due to reappear in court within eight days.
Meanwhile Christopher Glover, 38, of Bury, has been released on bail after being fully committed for trial on four charges including having an article with a blade in a public place.
