Weather / Windy weather causes disruption to ferries
THERE is weather disruption on Shetland’s ferry services this morning (Sunday) due to the winds.
The Whalsay service was initially suspended before resuming with some runs, but the last trip into Symbister will be the 2.45pm from Vidlin.
The Yell Sound ferry has been suspended, with a further update due at 2pm.
The Skerries service has been cancelled.
On Bluemull Sound there is a warning there could be disruption to the service.
Meanwhile there was a power cut in parts of the North Mainland including Ollaberry overnight.
