Transport / Loganair tweaks check-in closing time

LOGANAIR passengers are being advised that check-in will now close 40 minutes before departure instead of the current half an hour.

The change will come into effect from Sunday (29 October).

It applies to all Loganair domestic flights, apart from services from London.

It is designed to help the airline in its efforts to improve its on-time performance.

The closing time for baggage drops has also been changed to 40 minutes prior to departure.

A spokesperson for Loganair said: “As part of our continuing programme of improvements to service and on time performance, our check-in times are being brought forward to 40 mins before departure effective 29th Oct.

“With larger aircraft and higher numbers of customers, it is important we help ensure all our customers can clear check-in and security for an on-time departure.

“Everyone at Loganair wants our flights to operate on time and this small step is one of several improvements we are making to help us do this.”
