WREATHS were laid at the War Memorial outside Lerwick Town Hall on Sunday morning to mark the Battle of Britain anniversary.

Led by Lord Lieutenant Bobby Hunter and council vice convener Bryan Petersen the anniversary commemorates the Royal Air Force’s decisive victory over the German air force in 1940.
