Emergency services / Three fire appliances called out
THE FIRE service was called out to a fire affecting a commercial property on Scalloway’s New Street this afternoon (Wednesday).
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said three appliances were sent to the scene, but the small fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
They added that two casualties were in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The spokesperson said the call came in at around 1.30pm.
