Court / Three appear in court on drugs charges

THREE people from Kilmarnock have appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court accused of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Two of the three were remanded when they appeared from custody in private on Monday afternoon.

Samuel Duncan, 35, Cherie Cassidy, 36, and Daniel Cassidy, 34, all made no plea or declaration.

All three faced a charge of being in the concerned in the supply of drugs.

Duncan was also charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, attempting to defeat the ends of justice and breaching a liberation condition.

Daniel Cassidy was also charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

Duncan and Daniel Cassidy were remanded in custody and are due to reappear within eight days. Cherie Cassidy was granted bail and released.
