Arts / Criminology author to visit Mareel as part of Scottish tour

Professor David Wilson.

A CRIMINOLOGIST will come to Shetland in October as part of his Murder at Home tour.

Professor David Wilson is the author of My Life with Murderers and A Plot to Kill and he has also presented Channel 4’s In the Footsteps of Killers.

The true crime tour is based on Wilson’s book of the same name and explores danger in the least expected places – people’s own homes.

His show will talk the audience through different rooms, their uses and the potential murder weapons they could contain.

The Scot said: “I am delighted to be touring in Scotland again, and this time visiting towns and cities that I was unable to speak in on the last tour.

“I am looking forward to once again engaging with Scottish audiences, about true crime, violence, and murder.

“Despite what I am going to talk about, it’s always nice to come home.”

Wilson will be at the Mareel auditorium on 28 October. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10am on his website.
