In Pictures / Sun, fun and great craic – bikers gather in Ollaberry

The sun was shining on the rally after many years of mixed weather.

AROUND 300 bikers from Shetland, Scotland and further afield attending the 39th Simmer Dim rally are enjoying one of the longest warm and sunny periods anyone can remember.

There is live music and entertainment, a visit from the Delting jarl squad plus the rally’s infamous games.

Photographer Dave Donaldson went along on Saturday afternoon.

Three Cheers for the Simmer Dim committee.
All revved up Jimmy Johnson.
A toast to the sunny weather from Tony Gallacher and Linda Johnson.
