Emergency services / Emergency services attend two-vehicle road accident
EMERGENCY services were called to a two-vehicle road accident at the south Sandwick junction this evening (Thursday).
Two fire engines attended the scene and crews helped to remove a female from one of the cars with the use of cutting equipment.
Fire control said the person was transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The call came into the fire service at around 8.40pm, with two appliances from Sandwick and Lerwick sent. Their stop message came in at around 9.20pm.
