FILMING for the BBC crime drama will take place in Walls tomorrow (Thursday).

Cast and crew returned to Shetland this week to continue filming series eight of the popular TV programme.

Location manager Davie Gardner said: “We will be filming at a property in Watsness, Walls and on the adjacent road between Walls and the Dale of Walls.”

There will be a partial road closure and traffic management measures in place from 7am to 8pm.

“Local access will be maintained, although a stop / go traffic control system will operate … These ‘holds’ will only apply for a few minutes at a time on each occasion but we nevertheless apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” Gardner said.

The production support unit will be at the Walls pier.

Gardner added: “Please take note of this and drive carefully in these areas at all times.”
