Features / Shetland marks Norwegian constitution day
A LARGE crowd gathered at the Shetland Bus memorial in Scalloway today (Wednesday) to mark Norway’s national day.
The Norwegian constitution was signed more than 200 years ago on 17 May 1814.
Lerwick Town Hall has been flying the Norwegian flag since this morning to mark Shetland’s close relationship with its Scandinavian neighbour.
