Emergency services / Fire crews tackle serious house fire at Wadbister
FIREFIGHTERS spent a number of hours at the scene of fire at Wadbister on Thursday which left the building in ruins.
It is understood that everybody in the house was accounted for and there were no injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.15pm on Thursday, May 4 to reports of a house on fire at Wadbister.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a single storey property.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene at around 9pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
