In Pictures / Mirrie dancers put on stunning display

Trevor Carr took this photo in Walls in the early hours of Friday.

THE MIRRIE dancers put on a significant show in Shetland last night (Thursday) and into the early hours of the morning – with social media ablaze with photos.

Some people said it was the most vivid they had ever seen it, with streaks – sometimes ‘dancing’ – often visible in the sky with the naked eye.

Feel free to send in photos to news@shetnews.co.uk or through the Shetland News social media pages.
