Court / Man appears in court on assault charges
A MAN from Lerwick has appeared from custody at the town’s court on a number of assault charges.
Cory Williamson, 21, faced a charge of assault to injury and permanent disfigurement when he appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday.
He also appeared on a charge of assault to injury, as well as two charges of assault and two of behaving in a threatening or abusive manager.
Williamson made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
