Police / Police enquiries ongoing after body found in Ollaberry area
THE POLICE say the body of a woman was found near to an outbuilding in the Ollaberry area earlier today (Tuesday).
It followed a search involving the coastguard helicopter and rescue teams from Hillswick, Lerwick and Sumburgh.
The police spokesperson said the body was found at around 1.30pm.
“Enquiries into the death are ongoing but it is not believed to be suspicious,” they said. “A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
