Transport / Tingwall Airport closed after fire engine fault
TINGWALL Airport has been closed today (Monday) due to a technical fault with its fire appliance.
A spokesperson for Shetland Islands Council said: “Investigations are underway to find the cause to restore fire cover to the airport as soon as possible.”
The airport runs flights, operated by Airtask, to Foula and Fair Isle.
