Letters / Climate change – does anyone really care?
Homo Sapiens is not the finished article, it started with micro biotic sludge millions of years ago, maybe. In thousands of years what passes for a human today will be looked upon as we look at Neanderthals.
We are evolving, the planet is evolving, everything is evolving. Cue a chorus of ‘We are family!’ We are insignificant specs of nothingness on the calendar of creation.
Maybe the next genus will be Homo Neveau or Homo AI, perhaps even Homo Borg. (Star Trek not Tennis) Whatever it is, it will adapt or die.
Platitudes about unborn grandchildren of which politicians are fond of saving from the looming roasting are pretty insignificant if you take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
Challenge of reaching net zero target spelled out to councillors
We are highly evolved chimpanzees who when you strip away the indoctrinated tribal class ridden construct of ‘society’ are nothing special. We are just the human animal.
