Court / Man accused of attempted murder
A MAN from Glasgow has been remanded in custody after appearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court accused of attempted murder.
Stephen Savage, 48, made no plea and was committed for further examination. He appeared in private from custody on Tuesday.
He is also accused of assault to severe injury and danger of life. Savage is due to reappear in court within the next eight days.
It comes after an incident in Lerwick on Saturday morning which left a 34-year-old man seriously injured.
