News / Man remains in hospital following Lerwick incident
A FORTY eight year old man is expected to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday in connection with an incident on Saturday morning which left a 34-year-old man seriously injured.
Police were called to the Grostane area of Lerwick at 8.35am.
The man was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment. His condition was initially described as serious.
He remains in hospital and his condition has this morning been described as “stable”.
A 48-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
