Transport / Yell Sound ferry service to drop to single vessel after fault
THE YELL Sound ferry will run with a single vessel on Tuesday (16 August) following a fault with the Dagalien‘s control system.
The council’s ferry service said it will provide a further update in the morning.
It means that Yell Sound will be running a single vessel to the shift timetable, with all bookings suspended.
The crew will try to put in extra runs where there is a build up of traffic. Shetland Islands Council said it apologises for inconvenience caused.
