Just recovering, between shifts, before the final Pride celebration this, Saturday evening.

What an astonishing show of solidarity, compassion, understanding, celebrating difference and change in attitudes.

Pride celebrations declared a huge success

I seriously never believed I could be so proud (always a bit wary of that word, but context is all) to say I am a Shetlander and so proud to be back here, especially at this time and on this day.

My former residency in Skipton as doubled my highly emotional state of joy, by also having its first Pride event.
