Transport / Reduced service on Bluemull Sound
THE BLUEMULL Sound ferry service will drop to a single vessel Saturday timetable from 3pm today (Wednesday) due to crew sickness.
All bookings are suspended in the meantime. The route is expected to resume full service from 5.40pm.
Shetland Islands Council said it apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The local authority is experiencing staffing pressure on ferry services and is currently has a number of vacancies.
