Emergency services / Motorcyclist taken to hospital with serious injuries

A TWENTY eight year old man has been taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick with serious injuries following a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle near Wormadale on Friday afternoon.

Police said that emergency services were called out to the accident on the A971 at 2.25pm yesterday.
