Transport / Yell Sound still single vessel as linkspan issue remains
THERE is continued disruption on the Yell Sound ferry route.
Since Monday the service has been running with a single vessel due to a linkspan issue at Ulsta.
This will remain the case today (Thursday), with a shift timetable in place and bookings suspended.
Meanwhile due to essential maintenance on the Bigga Bluemull Sound will be covered by a single vessel operating to a Saturday timetable on Monday 21 March.
