Transport / Boats cancelled due to weather
BOTH of tonight’s (Tuesday) NorthLink passenger ferry sailings to and from Lerwick have been cancelled due to the weather.
The northbound trip will only go as far as Kirkwall before heading back to Aberdeen, while the southbound service has been called off completely.
Tonight’s freight sailing from Aberdeen to Lerwick is also cancelled.
It is not much of a better picture for Wednesday, with all sailings under review. The passenger boats have a high probability of cancellation.
