Transport / Bressay ferry back on restricted timetable due to Covid isolation among crew
THE BRESSAY ferry service will again operate to a restricted timetable from tomorrow (Friday) due to Covid isolation among crew.
Shetland Islands Council said that following recently announced government guidance to reduce the isolation period, it is hoped that services will be able to return to normal on Friday 14 January.
Wherever possible crews will fit in extra runs where there is a build-up of waiting traffic.
It comes after the Bressay ferry service was also reduced in December due to isolation.
The restricted timetable is available on the council’s website here.
