News / Warning of weather related ferry disruptions this week
LIFELINE ferry operator NorthLink has warned that Wednesday night’s passenger services between Aberdeen and Shetland are likely to be cancelled due adverse weather.
A final decision has not been made yet and both services remain under review, the company said. However, cancellation is a high possibility, North Link added.
Meanwhile, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Friday and Saturday when very strong winds gusting up to 80 miles per hours are expected.
