Court / Two released on bail after private court appearances
A MAN from Ireland appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday accused of rape.
Sean Casey made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
The 67-year-old is also alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner.
MEANWHILE a 22-year-old man also appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Shaun Penders, of Lerwick, is alleged to have carried out contraventions of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
He made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
