Court / Man fined for possessing knife at airport
A MAN has been fined £100 for possessing a knife at Sumburgh Airport.
Michal Sobala, of Gdynia, Poland, appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Tuesday) to admit the offence.
The 47-year-old admitted having the knife at the airport without reasonable excuse or lawful authority on Monday.
In addition to the fine Sobala had the knife forfeited.
