Emergency services / Woman taken to hospital following Tingwall crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital in Lerwick late yesterday afternoon (Thursday) following a one vehicle road traffic accident on the Tingwall straight.

Emergency services responded to the crash on the A970 at around 5.20pm.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “There were no serious injuries but one woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
