Police / Man charged in connection with Lerwick assault

A THIRTY nine year old man was charged in connection with an assault in Lerwick on Saturday night.

Police were called to a report of disorder at a premises on the Esplanade at around 10.25pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault.

“He is subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
