Police / Driver taken to hospital after crash

A DRIVER was taken to hospital following a one-vehicle road accident in the Tingwall area on Tuesday night.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called following a one-vehicle crash which happened on the A970 around four miles north of Lerwick at around 8.25pm on Tuesday, 5 October, 2021.

“One person was taken to hospital by ambulance and the road was clear by 10.30pm.”
