Transport / Freight sailings cancelled
NORTHLINK has advised that its freight sailing from Aberdeen to Lerwick today (Wednesday) has been cancelled due to the weather.
The Hildasay will instead only travel as far north as Kirkwall before returning to the mainland.
As a result the Hildasay will no longer be departing Lerwick on Thursday as previously scheduled.
The freight boat’s next scheduled departure is from Aberdeen sailing for Kirkwall and Lerwick at 3pm on Friday (24 September).
The passenger ferries to and from Shetland are unaffected.
