Coronavirus / Four new Covid cases confirmed

FOUR newly confirmed cases of Covid have been recorded in Shetland.

It comes after NHS Shetland confirmed some of the isles’ recent cases were linked to a football tournament in Orkney at the weekend.

Twenty six people from Shetland have been asked to isolate as a result, while 20 were contacted in Orkney.

Public health officials said they expected more cases to emerge.
