Coronavirus / Seven new Covid cases recorded over the weekend
SHETLAND continues to record new Covid cases though giving accurate figures at the weekend proves to be difficult.
According to data published by Public Health Scotland, there were four new cases in the NHS Shetland area on Sunday and three on Saturday.
However, updates to the Scottish Government’s own records are not being published at the weekend.
With 52.4 people per 100,000 population having been tested positive over the latest seven day period, Shetland remains one of the areas in Scotland with the lowest infection rates.
