Emergency services / Early start for Aith lifeboat as crew comes to aid of fishing vessel
THE AITH lifeboat was tasked early this morning (Tuesday) to come to the aid of a small local fishing vessel which suffered engine problems west of Shetland.
The Audacious, which has two people on board, is currently being towed by the lifeboat towards Scalloway.
The boat reported the issue around four and a half miles north of Foula.
The lifeboat was launched shortly before 5.40am.
