Court / Private cases heard at court
A NUMBER of people appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday on separate petition charges.
Stephen Tait, of Lytham, faced six charges of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour.
The 38-year-old made no plea, was committed further examination and granted bail.
Thirty four year old Robert Paton, of Salford, faced two charges of lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour.
He also made no plea, was committed further examination and granted bail.
Matthew Williamson, 20, of Shetland, appeared in private accused of assault to injury and carrying an offensive weapon in a public place.
He entered no plea, was committed for further examination and granted bail.
