News / Police enquiries after boat damaged at East Voe marina
POLICE are appealing for information after a small boat moored at the East Voe marina, in Scalloway, was vandalised.
A spokesperson said that damage was caused to the engine, the battery and starter wires. The boat also sustained hull damage, causing it to sink.
The act of vandalism is believed to have occurred sometime between 2pm Monday last week and 1.45pm the following day.
Anyone who can help police in their enquiries is asked to contact Police Scotland on telephone 101 quoting the reference number NL417/21, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
