Education / College closed after cyber attack
SHETLAND College is closed for the day after the University of the Highlands and Islands suffered a cyber attack on Sunday.
A spokesperson for UHI said that staff were working to isolate and minimise impact from this incident with assistance from external partners.
“We do not believe personal data has been affected. The source of the incident is not yet known,” the spokesperson said.
“To help us minimise disruption caused by this incident, all college and research institution campuses are physically closed to all students and staff on Monday 8 March.”
