Police / People reminded to keep dogs under control when near farm animals
LOCAL police are reminding dog walkers to keep their animals “suitably restrained” when near farm animals.
Officers said they have had concerns raised from members of the public regarding dog walkers allowing their dogs to run to run free in fields where ewes are in lamb.
“This can potentially causing distress to the animals and subsequent loss to the animal and farmers alike,” the police said.
