Court / £300 fine for breaching order
A FIFTY two year old woman has been fined £300 for breaching the terms of a non-harassment order.
Kristina Cumming, of Da Vadill, Lerwick, pleaded guilty to the offence when she appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.
She attended a man’s flat at his own request on Thursday and Friday, breaching an order imposed by the court in September this year.
Procurator fiscal Duncan Mackenzie said it was “neither here nor there” that she was invited to the man’s house, and if there was a repeat it was likely she would be remanded in custody.
Defence agent Tommy Allan said his client had applied to have the order revoked but accepted that she must comply with its terms until that process is complete.
