Community / Vice-convener and Lord Lieutenant lead local Remembrance Sunday event
WREATHS were laid at the war memorial opposite the Lerwick Town Hall earlier to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic people had been asked not to attend and instead observe two minutes silence in their homes. Those who attended observed social distancing rules.
The wreath laying was led by Shetland Islands Council vice-convener Cecil Smith and Lord Lieutenant Bobby Hunter.
